Fritz has a long-standing track record in Equities both on the investment and the advisory side. Focusing on the markets of Emerging Europe, Fritz is one of the most renowned professionals in this area with over 200 transactions during these 25 years. As a creative entrepreneur and investor, Fritz has established and developed the investment boutique Q·ADVISERS in 2010. He is also a non-executive board member of a number of outstanding companies.
Fritz holds a Doctor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck. He is also a chartered CEFA Analyst and Journalist.
With over 15 years of investment experience, Jan is in charge of daily trading, execution and risk management. He has extensive asset management experience with particular expertise in alternative investment strategies. He is also proficient in fundamental and quant modelling. In his Hedge Fund role as a VP at UniCredit in London, Jan developed a structured hedge fund manager research and investment process and implemented multiple risk monitoring systems to improve tracking of investment performance.
Jan is a graduate of ESCP-EAP European School of Management and a holder of the CAIA designation.
With over 25 years of emerging markets trading experience, Michel currently runs a number of managed accounts at Vedra Partners. Michel brings a vast amount of know-how to Q·CAPITAL. Prior to joining Vedra Partners, Michel worked at DUET Asset Management and Armajaro Asset Management LLP since 2009 as portfolio manager. Michel has established a comprehensive network of relationships throughout the region. Prior to joining Armajaro, Michel was hired by Lehman Brothers International (Europe) in London to build and head up the Emerging Markets equities team. The team managed the bank’s equity derivatives and cash portfolio, mainly in Russia, Greece, South Africa, Israel, Middle East, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Turkey. Earlier, Michel was Head of the London Office and Head of EMEA Equity Trading at CA-IB International Markets Ltd (part of Unicredit), responsible for pricing and structuring EMEA equity derivative products. In addition, Michel successfully managed and traded the firm’s proprietary book. Before joining CAIB he managed the European Emerging Markets Equity Derivatives desk at Citibank.
Michel has a Masters in Business Administration from the London Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Daniel is director of QINO Group Services AG and HTG Ventures AG, a private holding company, all located in Hünenberg. He has 25 years experience in accounting, controlling and auditing. Before this he has been working for different audit and consulting companies in Zug, Switzerland.
Daniel is on the board of directors since company incorporation and management board member of QCAPITAL AG since 2005.
He holds the certificate “Swiss Certified Specialist for Finance and Accounting” since 1989 and passed the exam for Authorized Persons to Perform Controlled Functions (according to FSA) in 2002.
George has more than 6 years of experience in the financial services industry in the United States. He was a manager in Deloitte’s Investment Management Group. In the Investment Management Group, he focused on serving hedge funds, private equity funds and high net worth individuals. In addition, he served clients in the area of R&D tax.
